Your expedition will go either 1 mile or 3 miles into the spring. You can even bring a fishing pole and see if you can get any bites on your Cypress Spring adventure.

Cypress Springs is approximately 150 feet in diameter with a maximum depth of 29 feet. The crystal clear water allows for you to see the spring clearly. You just have to see it to believe it! Come paddle to see Cypress Springs as it is only accessible by watercraft! The spring pool is surrounded by cypress and tupelo trees to provide some shade.


Make sure to bring enough sunscreen, drinks, and lunch as you enjoy a day out on the springs. The journey to the spring starts on Holmes Creek where you will head downstream and turn into the opening of Cypress Springs. You can even bring a fishing pole and see if you can get any bites as you float down Holmes Creek to complete your adventure.

Canoe Adventures is less than 2 miles outside of Vernon, FL and within close driving distance from Panama City Beach, 30A and Destin. The only way to access Cypress Spring is by traveling on a boat, kayak, canoe or paddleboard from Holmes Creek since the surrounding land is privately owned.
