Reasons to Rent a Canoe...

A canoe or a kayak, which one is right for you?

The paddle-powered vessels are similar but have their differences. The advantages to renting a canoe start with stability! Canoes tend to be wider, making them more stable.

Canoes also can carry more gear along for the ride. If you plan on fishing during your adventure, a canoe is the way to go.

They are also easier to exit than kayaks. If you plan on getting in and out of the watercraft frequently on the trip, then a canoe is the right choice for you.

Reasons to Rent a Kayak...

Choosing a kayak over a canoe has its benefits. Kayaks require less effort to paddle because of their hull designs. They also require less effort to turn. This makes it easy for you to glide across the water without much effort. Kayaks are easier to transport since most are lighter than canoes. The closed cockpits protect you from the sun and are more comfortable to sit in for long periods.

The choice of picking a kayak or canoe is mainly up to preference. If you’re still not sure, our friendly experts will help you choose the right watercraft for you!
